We first met online through skype through a few mutual friends, we would spend nights and days talking to one another about the silliest of things. We first met each other face to face on July 25, 2011. Me and my bestman Daniel took the metro out to Alexandria so I could go meet flor. We ended up getting off on the wrong stop (King Street) when we were supposed to get off at Van Dorn. So me and dan decided we were going to just tough it out and walk the walk not knowing it was going to be a 4.5 mile walk that would take over 2 hours cause it started to rain as we were walking to meet flor. We had our first kiss later that day infront of a harris teeter, then later walked to the Hoffman AMC theatre to watch Captain America! Things took off from that point and we fell in love with each other. We started officially dating September 23,2012 and have been together happily ever since!

The proposal happened July 23,2016. I first purchased the ring without flor knowing at all and decided I was going to propose to her with all our friends around during our annual camping/tubing trip to Harpers Ferry. The days leading up to the proposal were super nerve wracking and exciting. I had decided I was going to carry the ring in my backpack while tubing down the river, then at the end when we get off there is a waterfall and I decided I was going to propose to her on the top of the waterfall! Everything went perfect during the start, then we lost our GoPro due to me dropping it! But we made it to the end and she was completely shocked and surprised when I pulled out the ring to propose to her with all our friends standing around us!
