What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail (dress, skirt with a blouse, slacks, dress pants, button down shirt, suit, etc.). Please take in consideration that the ceremony will be held outside on artificial grass and the weather may be cooler as the sun starts to set.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Guests will be asked to find their own transportation to and from the venue. Free parking spaces are available in the lot next to the venue. The address for Wrightsville Manor is 1952 Allens Lane, Wilmington, NC 28403

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Wrightsville Manor will be open for our guest's arrival starting at 4:15 pm. We ask that our guests start to find their way to the garden to be seated for the ceremony around 4:30 pm. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held indoors.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

No worries! There will be a live stream and a recorded video available online. When you receive your invitation, please indicate that you will not be joining us on your online RSVP as soon as possible. If something comes up and you are unable to attend after already RSVP-ing that you would be attending, please call or text as soon as possible.

Are there any COVID precautions in place?

Answer

We recommend getting your vaccine at least 2 weeks prior to the ceremony, although it is not required. However, for our guests who are unvaccinated, we ask that you wear a mask at all times to protect yourself and those around you. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID, please join us by virtual ceremony instead.

What is fall weather like in Wilmington?

Answer

Average temperature ranges between 60 to 74 degrees, about 75% humidity. Mostly sunshine with a small chance of rain. It may be a little too chilly to go swimming in the ocean, but a dip in shallow parts of the water may feel refreshing.

Will there be a family gathering before or after the wedding?

Answer

We are tentatively planning on having a get together with our families. More details to come later.
