Meet the friends & family who are walking down the aisle with us.

Jonell

Matron of Honor

Jamie and her "little" sister have been there through thick and thin. Although one of their most frequently used phrases growing up was, "She started it," their parents were right when they declared that one day they'd be best friends. In their adult lives, they have been some of each other's greatest cheerleaders (Jonell recently nominated Jamie for UCF's 30 Under 30). Jamie had the privilege to serve as Jonell's Maid of Honor last year and is thrilled for Jonell to stand by her side on November 9. Find Jonell at the wedding if you have a burning question only a MOH can answer, want to talk about robots, or hope to hear some embarrassing childhood stories.

Natalie

Bridesmaid

Although Natalie and Jamie met freshman year at UCF, they truly got to know each other as roommates on their study abroad trip to Italy. Through bonding over Renaissance art, cheese, Scopa, and countless nights of laughter, they realized they were platonic lobsters. Since then, they lived together senior year, traveled to 6 countries together and still make each other laugh uncontrollably. Find Natalie at the wedding if you want to swap travel stories, to learn about personal fitness, or have a mild medical situation (seriously, she helped Jamie avoid a burst appendix when she recognized the signs of appendicitis from 4,000 miles away).

Lucy

Bridesmaid

Jamie was Lucy's secret FAT (Faithful, Available, Teachable) mentor as part of Catholic Campus Ministry. All it took was a few meetings at the UCF Chick-fil-A to realize that the two were kindred spirits. From praying together to line dancing at Cowboy's Ladies Nights on Thursdays, their friendship was solidified before living together during Jamie's senior year. Jamie and Lucy continue support each other's goals from afar through vision boards, self-care tips, and urging each other to remember, "You're fly as hell, girl!" Find Lucy at the wedding if you need some self-care tips, want to discuss topics ranging from feminist issues to the Marvel universe, or require line dance lessons.

Katherine

Bridesmaid

When Jamie moved to Atlanta to get her MBA, she knew she was going to meet some special people. It wasn't long until she pinpointed Katherine as someone she wanted to be friends with (not creepy, promise). From the Goizueta ski trip in Breckenridge to riding bikes through Chicago at 3 a.m., Katherine and Jamie have made some amazing memories in just a few years, with many more to come. Katherine still retains the title of "ATL BAE" and David and her have joked about a custody arrangement over Jamie's time. Find Katherine at the wedding if you want to hear b-school stories, need someone to take a tequila shot with, or to catch up on the latest Bachelor/Bachelorette scandal.

Stacey

Bridesmaid

When David and Jamie first started dating, Stacey played the role of protective big sister. However, it wasn't long before Stacey started telling Jamie that they'd be sisters one day. Stacey has made Jamie feel like a part of the Hale family and has been a source of love in Jamie and David's journey. Earlier this year, Stacey became a mom to Haley, Jamie and David's first niece who melts their heart. Find Stacey at the wedding if you want to see cute baby photos of Haley, to hear embarrassing stories about David's childhood, or talk about the Bucs' season.

Danny

Best Man

Buds since 1990, Danny was a shoo-in for Best Man. Although he convinced David to do a few dumb things while growing up, that made life all the more fun. Today, the two bond over their love of Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and Chelsea football. They have also traveled to support the USA soccer team, enjoying themselves rain or shine among the American Outlaw hooligans. Find Danny at the wedding if you want a good laugh, are looking for a dance partner, or need a whiskey drinking buddy (just make sure it's after the speech).

Rob

Groomsman

Rob and David met during freshman year at UCF. Between GTL days, Spring Break cruises, and Intramural Sports (UCF IM Champs 2012!), the two became great friends. After college, Rob and David "cohabitated" for several years while working for Fidelity Investments in Jacksonville. Shout out to Rob for being the best landlord. Although Rob no longer has the pleasure of sharing a home with David, he now lives in Orlando with his beautiful dog Zeus and girlfriend Brittany. Find Rob at the wedding if you need any workout or finance tips, want to listen to his 5-song playlist, or to see more photos of Zeus.

Justin

Groomsman

Justin and David met in middle school science class. The two immediately became friends for the love of the game (baseball). In addition to playing East Lake Little League baseball together, Justin and David started their first jobs at Tropicana Field together. The two lived together while attending UCF, with a double enrollment at Hogwarts. Justin still has Universal Studios season passes (and Disney, lucky duck!) with his girlfriend Katie. Find Justin at the wedding if you want theme park tips, need to know the words to a Beatles song, or need to be caught up on UCF's season (he works there now!).

Colby

Groomsman

Colby and David met during David's first year at UCF through mutual friends from East Lake High School. The two bonded at UCF tailgates and late nights at Knight's Library. After years of friendship, Colby is now officially part of the Hale household's Football Sundays. Find Colby at the wedding if you need Fantasy Football tips, want to learn what not to do on a boat or where not to catch fish, or are interested in buying a house in the Tampa Bay Area.

Kevin

Groomsman

Kevin and David go wayyy back as Kevin was Danny's best friend growing up. David would tag along with Danny to Kevin's house and the three would play video games, silent Marco Polo, and life-endangering games on the trampoline. Kevin has always been another brother to David, as well as a fellow sports-lover. Find Kevin at the wedding to hear about running a business, to hear childhood stories about David, or to learn baseball fundamentals.
