David & Jamie went to high school and college together, but didn't become close until they both moved back to the Tampa Bay Area after graduation. In between nights out with friends, Game of Thrones watch parties, and road trips to Orlando for UCF games and Universal Studios days, they became best friends. Both were starting to fall for each other, but it wasn't until Jamie was about to head off on her pre-MBA Europe trip that David got the nerve to tell her how he felt. She, of course, reciprocated. After a month apart while Jamie explored Portugal, Spain, and Greece, they dated in the same city for a month before David helped move Jamie to Atlanta (thanks for the help too, Aldridge!). After more than three years of long distance dating (shout out to Spirit and MegaBus for making it affordable), David moved to Atlanta the afternoon of September 21, 2018. He proposed the next morning on top of Stone Mountain with Jamie's college best friends as witnesses. David & Jamie are ecstatic to begin their married life and are beyond grateful for the continued support of their loved ones as they grow together.
