Jake Hunsicker is a lifelong friend of Josiah's. They met in a homeschool group at nine and have been good friends ever since. Josiah greatly appreciates Jake's Christ-like companionship and heart. He is always down for an adventure, so you can find the friends playing disc golf, hiking, exploring REI, or swinging for the fences at a driving range.

Joanna is both Lisa's longest and best friend. Joanna and Lisa grew up together, attending home school functions and church events, but Lisa moved away at the age of 10. The thousands of miles did not keep them away from each other. They have shared many emails, texts and phone calls that lasted hours over the years. Joanna has been there for Lisa through it all.

Jonathan is a long-time friend of Josiah's. Initially raised as a MK, Jonathan would come back on furlough at the dawn of summer and would hang out with Josiah and his sisters. Always up for anything, Jonathan is known for his passion for the Guardians and friendly face.
Caroline Hotz

Caroline is one of Lisa’s closest friends in Cleveland. It all began with a spontaneous trip to Niagara Falls in the middle of the night. It may not have been one of our wisest choices, but it was the start of a friendship. This friendship has blossomed into one that points the pair closer to Christ. It is filled with late-night fast-food runs, driving around town while listening to Taylor Swift, finding fun sunsets, and many other adventures with lots of deep conversations. Caroline and Lisa now co-lead a middle school group together at church!

Fred was Lisa’s boss in college. He and his wife made a huge impact as both role models and mentors to Lisa during her time in college. Today, Fred serves as the Young Adult director of Lisa and Josiah’s Young Adult group.

Lauren is a good friend of Lisa's. She has made Cleveland feel like home for her. Lauren is the friend who was and is always there to listen and give great advice.
Zach Bennett

Zach is a valued friend and mentor of Josiah's. He originally introduced Josiah to the world of banking by inviting him to apply to a bank teller position at Third Federal. He is a godly role model who Josiah would like to emulate individually and in his relationship with Christ and his soon-to-be wife. Lisa and Josiah have enjoyed double dates with Rachel and Zach.
Jobeth Fleshman

Jobeth is Josiah’s youngest sister. Currently majoring in social work at Cleveland State, Jobeth has a sympathetic heart for the disenfranchised. You can find her listening to music, baking, or discussing and gameplanning her Spotify wrapped.
Luke Boersma

Luke is a good friend of Josiah's. They originally met at Cru in Cleveland State and continued their friendship as they studied accounting classes. They have since enjoyed being roommates with one another.

Janae is Josiah’s younger sister. Janae, a nanny, is known for her sweet spirit and heart for children. Janae's always down for a run for curly fries or Starbucks.

Lilian, also known as the spunky 8 year old, and Lisa’s oldest niece! She is full of energy, just like her aunt and loves to swim and may even try to drink her aunt’s coffee( start them young)

Emelia, the second oldest of Lisa’s nieces also known as the sassy little 5 year old (she definitely got her personality from Lisa). Her laugh is contagious and she can get the whole room laughing within minutes.
