Applebee's Grill + Bar
We spent our second date here. This is a great option when we are looking for long conversation or a quick and cheap dinner.
Cozumel
We went here on our first date (10/14/22)! This where it all began.
Trivs
We spent our first Valentine's Day here. A fancy-schmancy restaurant, this is a great option if you're a traditional meat and potatoes kind of person.
Panera Bread
An excellent place to sit and converse (potentially even wedding plan?). Our third date was concluded at this restaurant.
Cold Stone Creamery
We concluded our first date here. A great option if you like blending toppings with your ice cream of choice.
Metropolitan Coffee
This is our go-to coffee shop of choice (partially due to quality, and partially because Josiah lives nearby!). It's a quaint coffee shop with an Instagram-worthy aesthetic.
Roasted Tremont
We sold books to this shop (bonus points if you can find one of ours shelved in the back room). It's a cute little coffee shop.
Scene75 Entertainment Center | Cleveland
An arcade full of life and joy, this adventure-land includes indoor miniature golf, Go Karts, pop-a-shot, skeeball, air hockey, and VR fun.
The Cleveland Museum of Art
An excellent date in the winter, we could wander this museum for hours. Bonus points for the price (it's free!).
Akron Art Museum
This is another great art exhibit option to explore. Have you noticed that we enjoy exploring art exhibits?
Candytopia Cleveland
This is an interactive art exhibit made out of a variety of candies. If you have ever wanted to eat your way out of Candyland or explore the Wonka factory, this is the place to be.
Escape Room Strongsville
We went here on our fifth date, when we became official. Little did Lisa know how the day would end! We escaped with seconds left on the clock. We recommend the chocolate factory room.
Mapleside Farms
This is a cute farm with a great view of the sunset. They also offer a corn maze in the fall so that you can experience the true feeling of terror when you inevitably get lost in a pitch-black maze.
Pinspiration Avon
Their splatter-paint room is an excellent option if you would like to throw paint at a wall (or your partner) for an hour. 10/10 would recommend.
The Axe House - Cleveland - Axe Throwing
This kicked-off our third date. It was the first of our many 'active' dates that included something outside of a meal/movie.
Pinecrest
This is a quaint neighborhood that offers a host of restaurants (tacos, pizza, and donuts) and shops (REI, clothing stores, and home decor centers). The Candle Studio is a great date night option.
The Painted Penguin
A fabulous option if you enjoy painting pottery. You can bring your item home the same day. While you wait, feel free to walk around and shop at SouthPark.
Grand Pacific Junction Historic Shopping District
This is where we got engaged! Enjoy exploring the historic shopping buildings, beautiful nature scene, and the brick bridge.
The Holden Arboretum
We went here the day of our engagement! It's a beautiful location with a scenic tower, canopy walk, and several trails to wander and explore.
