He completed Family Medicine training at Ft. Liberty. He is the most friendly person you will ever meet, and could literally befriend a rock. He loves his dog, his cat, his family, pickleball, and fishing.

Lena “No Middle Name” Nowacki is an ever-aspiring adventurer, whose roots originate from Denver, CO. She followed her dreams in medicine to Ft. Lauderdale, and now is completing her medical training at Ft. Liberty. She loves reading, being with her family/friends/dog, hiking, crocheting, gardening, and pickleball.

This lively gentleman has known the groom since grade school, when they were just wee ‘ol tikes playing football. They grew up together, where they bonded over football, wrestling, and all things health. Fun fact: ask him about the all you can eat Chinese buffet

This wonderful woman has been Lena’s best friend since 4th grade and been present through all the important things in her life. She is a talented creative inventor, while also such a smart engineer. This exceptional person is performing both the roles of an officiant and a groomsman. This is the brother of the groom. He has great aspirations for his life, but also has the most compassion for the people he loves in his life. He loves his dog, his video games, and his family! This lovely lady is one of the most wonderful people, and she is always ready for that next adventure. She plays volleyball and pickleball, and kayaks on her free time! This gentleman is one of John’s oldest friends. They grew up together on Long Island, where they used to ride bikes and play football. He had enlisted into the Army, and then transitioned into perfecting his trade with elevator repair in NYC. He is the most wonderful Dog Dad, and an even better friend. Fun fact: ask him about Lana his dog and snowboarding!

This wonderfully kind soul has been the sunshine through medical school for Lena! Spent the first 2 years studying every weekend at the beach. She came from Louisville, Kentucky where her studied at UK, and completed her medical school training at Nova Southeastern. She now serves in the USAF at Eglin Air Force base. Fun fact: Ask her about cats. Any and all cats.

This gentleman met the groom at basic training, and met the bride in residency. Him (and his family) became a staple at the Fitz-wacki household. He would always listen and assist with life choices for the groom; and made sure to share all the juicy gossip with the bride! Fun fact: ask him why the sky is blue. (Also his family and army career)

This spicy gal was Lena‘s roommate throughout medical school, and the close friend that she needed through all the hardships that came. Originally from South Korea, and grew up in a suburb outside of Atlanta. She completed medical school at Nova Southeastern with the bride, and is now killing it as an orthopedic surgeon at a residency in Dayton, Ohio. Ask her about all her travel adventures! And her cats Beans and Trixie.

This funny and lighthearted guy met the groom in residency, where their friendship bloomed! These two sit go on coffee and lunch dates even after residency has ended. He is from Arkansas, and he plans to go back one day! He also is Family Medicine, and he is an amazing pickleball player. He’s also one of the most well read people! This sweet, kind lady met the bride in medical school as well where they spent four years together! She is one of the most empathetic and wonderful people you will ever meet. You can sit on the beach and have a whole day with her that feels like minutes have gone by. She comes from Massachusetts, and finished her emergency medicine residency at Broward County in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She will be returning to the northeast to start her job in emergency medicine. Ask her anything, and you will have the best conversation!

This very driven man is the stepbrother of the groom. As he was always fascinated with airplanes, he ended up pursuing a degree in civil engineering and working at JFK. This wonderful lady met the bride in medical school and their friendship grew over four years of frequent tests and study sessions. They bonded over music and attending concerts, as well as listening to music on the beach. She completed medical school at nova Southeastern, and will have completed her pediatric residency at Broward County in Fort Lauderdale. She’s onto greater things in Atlanta to complete her hematology/oncology fellowship in pediatrics at Emory. Ask her about all our adventures in music concerts/festivals

This guy is dark humor wrapped up into a human, however, a caring husband and father as well. He met the groom in medical school, however, they grew close over the ladder two years. He and his family moved to San Antonio, Texas to complete his training. He is a wonderful chef and an even better creator of all food. Ask him about his beautiful daughter!

This wonderful fun gal met the bride at a bachelorette party, but grew to be friends over the years where it felt like we had known each other for lifetime. She is a wonderful Pickleball player, skier, an ultimate frisbee champion. Originally from Missouri, she has been currently residing in Denver Colorado. Ask about the love of her life, Duff.

This handsome young man is a spry go-getter who loves to chase both squirrels and cats. He has a kind heart, and loves all! He lived four months on the street, and four months in a foster family. We found him at an adoption outside of Petco, and he changed our lives forever. Fun fact: ask him about his squeaky ball, better yet, bring one (and maybe throw it?)
