This is a local park just on the edge of the city. They have short hikes with great foliage and waterfalls! It’s a perfect 2 mile hike up the gorge and then take the rim trail back to the parking lot!

Watkins Glen State Park

This is a wonderful 4-mile loop hike that takes you around a gorgeous waterfall! This is John’s favorite hike, and even on the weekend, it is relatively quiet. Highly encourage making it out before heading home.

Robert H. Treman State Park

A wonderful adventure through all the interesting things on earth. Great for a lovely afternoon inside!

Museum of the Earth

As we will be around major lakes, there will be plenty of water sports available!

Seneca Lake Kayak

This is a wonderful, large winery! It has a restaurant for a meal, but also has curated tasting rooms! It’s a casual place to have a drink!

Glenora Wine Cellars

A wonderful winery in the west side of Cayuga lake! It’s a 20min drive up from Ithaca, but a wonderful quiet place for a drinks and a bite! They have curated tasting so you’ll be able to get to enjoy many different flavors!

Thirsty Owl Wine Company

If you enjoy all things apple, this is a great place for ciders! It has small food options! John’s recommendation for the apple brandy (his favorite).
