Thanks for being a Part of our adventure!

Colin and I matched online after a series of poor experiences. Both of us were ready to give up when Jaimie forced Colin to change his profile picture and Caitlyn thought he was cute. They started talking in February 2020 and we all know what happened then. Throughout quarantine and most of that summer Caitlyn and Colin annoyed all of their friends and family by sending each other increasingly long letters. Their record was 8 pages in length. Most of their friends teased them then about this being a forever thing. Apparently, they were right!

Colin planned a huge trip for Caitlyn's spring break, keeping it a secret for months before revealing his plan to her with a scavenger hunt poem on her birthday (I know tooth-rotting adorableness). They were going to Greece, one of Caitlyn's dream travel destinations. They spent a day in Athens walking their feet off and then found their way to the island of Naxos, which is one of their favorite places they've ever been. They travelled across the island to experience a private sea kayaking tour where they paddled through caves, picnicked on a beach and snorkeled in the ocean. Exhausted they returned to their hotel. Caitlyn was done for the night, she was no longer interested in going to see the sunset, it was too late and she was tired. But Colin convinced her to shower and join him on the hike to the Apollo ruins near their hotel. They sat together and watched the sunset, a ferry nearby getting ready to sail away, Colin looks over and says I should have just enough time. And he gets down on one knee on a cliff overlooking the ocean to pop the question. Caitlyn (obviously) said yes and then proceeded to cry when the gentleman in question started being overly sweet. They celebrated with ice cream and stray cats. Climbing over rocks near the bay as they are wont to do.
