Arrive before 9:30am. Parking on Little Bear Rd. The ceremony is a ten minute walk over natural terrain and we ask that everyone is seated before the ceremony begins at 10am. Feel free to come early and enjoy morning time and wildlife in the meadow. Please turn off your cell phone and stow your camera for our unplugged ceremony.
A day reflective of Drew and Lauren's shared love for togetherness, the Lost Sierra, music, low-waste, casual delicious food, D.I.Y. and a funky aesthetic. Expect a marathon rather than a sprint. Prepare yourself for an epic party with a lot of laid-back socializing. Prepare to eat, drink and be merry, then bus your own dishes and fill your own cup.
Dress comfortably and plan for any weather. This includes a warm coat, a sun hat, shoes for natural terrain. And of course, look fabulous. Can you achieve the look good, feel good, do anything in this outfit for 8+ hours look? Yes, we know you can. Don't be scared of an outfit change. The temperature in the mountains drops quickly once the sun goes down and that's a great time to get funky and don a fur or faux fur jacket.
We encourage everyone to bring a refillable water bottle and a cup. This helps us cut down on single-use waste and helps you identify your beverages.
The ceremony and reception is reserved for family and close friends. We did not offer plus one's. You are welcome to invite a date to the after party starting at 6pm. Please no surprise appearances before then.
Historic weather data for early May suggests high temps ranging from 50 - 70 degrees Fahrenheit and lows consistently in the 30s. A chance of light showers and a slight chance of snow.
Don't let us tell you when to stop having a good time. There will be amplified live music and DJ's from 6-10pm. A food truck will be available with food for purchase. We encourage you to bring your own imbibements and party responsibly. A headlamp or flashlight is recommended for after dark.
Leave the dogs at home for this one. Our wedding venue is a protected natural habitat with abundant wildlife and not suitable for a wild pack of our favorite four-leggers.
