They were set up on a blind pumpkin-carving date thanks to Audrey's mom on October 18th, 2014... The rest is history. Fun fact: Audrey and Kit have carved pumpkins from the exact same patch as that day - every October 18th since 2014.

"Appropriate post for an April Fools day, considering I had the most intense prank ever played on me Friday. From kneeling over to look at “a manatee”, Kit pulling out a diamond ring and dropping it into the river when i reached for it.... to a panic attack followed by him pulling out my REAL ring 💍 His acting was flawless... enough to make me feel like I should be jumping into the river after the ring (which thankfully I did not) Seriously a roller coaster of emotions, and I’m so happy it ended with us ENGAGED! 😆💝"

Excellent choice, but why? Savannah is the place where the engagement began! Kit got Downs on one knee right at the Waving Girl in Morrell Park, the exact place where these two will tie the knot. Savannah has become a special place in their hearts.

This day, exactly one year ago, was the day Audrey and Kit began their engagement. They had just rolled into town for a long weekend getaway. They decided to celebrate their arrival with a walk down river street with some brewskis when Kit decided to totally "rock" Audrey's world!
