FAQs

Question

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Answer

Yes. Only fully vaccinated people will be allowed in our venue. Proof of vaccination will be required for entry.

Question

Do I need to take a COVID test?

Answer

We are asking all family and guests to please get tested prior to the event.

Question

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

We are not requiring masks but you are more than welcome to wear one.

Question

Do I need a Booster Shot?

Answer

We will be following the NYS and NYC Laws as well as the CDC recommendations. Currently you will not be required to have a booster shot, however, we HIGHLY recommend that you do get one.

Question

Do I need to dress modestly?

Answer

We would prefer for everyone to be dressed modestly and would like to mention that it will be COLD in NYC in March and parts of the day will be outside. If you aren't sure if your outfit is ok, just send a picture to Jamie (or Justin) and we will happily let you know.

Question

Will there be a Zoom?

Answer

Yes! If you are unable to make it to our wedding but would like to be a part of our Zoom, please email fisherkoatzwedding@gmail.com.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Unfortunately we are not inviting children/minors, our apologies for the inconvenience.

Question

Do I get a Plus 1?

Answer

We are trying to keep our numbers reasonable for the safety of our guests. If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, please reach out to Jamie or Justin to discuss.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We are working with Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks! Please check the Travel section of the website for links and details to secure lodging.

Question

How do I get to the Venue?

Answer

Please check out the Travel section of our website for directions.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Although there is no paid parking lot in close proximity to The Bordone, the staff report that street parking is not too difficult to find on a Sunday. Public transportation is available, but a taxi, Lyft, or Uber may be easier as the venue is a bit of a walk from the nearest stop.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are! We are registered right here on Zola as well as on Everlastly!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

On Saturday morning at 9:30AM we will be celebrating at Manhattan Jewish Experience. Justin will be having an Aufruf, he will be called up to the Torah and then we will pelt...I mean...toss candy at him. Jamie will be giving a Dvar Torah on the parsha of the week, Tzav. All our welcome to join us for services and kiddush. Please email fisherkoatzwedding@gmail.com to get the address and directions for MJE.
