His generosity and kindness helped Dave and Marissa through difficult times when they had first moved down to southern California and is ultimately the reason for the new friends that they have made. Despite his busy schedule, he continues to find time in his schedule to check up on and spend time with the bride and groom.

Carly is one of Marissa's longest standing friends, having met at Youth Music & Drama camp at Redwood Glen when they were just in middle school. Over the years, Marissa and Carly's friendship grew through mutual connections and they have found they can confide in each other. Despite the physical distance, Marissa knows that Carly is a friend she can always go to.

As cousins, Dave and Mike spent a lot of time together throughout childhood. And despite the differences they had growing up, they found core values they shared, and continued to strengthen the treasured friendship that has become even more significant than the family ties they hold.

Cat has been Dave’s loving and supportive sister since she could say her first words. Over the years of Marissa and Dave's relationship, Cat and Marissa have found many similar interests including video games, anime, and a genuine interest in Dave's wellbeing.

Dave and Jared were part of EPIC ministries while attending Cal Poly Pomona, during which Jared constantly hounded Dave about coming out to events. After leaving CPP and looking back, Dave realized that the socialization and community that Jared kept pulling him back to had kept him grounded despite the difficulties of going to college away from home. To this day, Dave cherishes the friendship and support that he had previously pushed away.

Ryu is constantly sharing leads for jobs in esports with Dave and Marissa, and has been the source of unique opportunities that they still boast of today. Her kind and adventurous personality lends to countless memories made in just the few years since she met the bride and groom.

From carting around hundreds of pounds of supplies by bike to making fun of 'bicycle shaped objects,' Dave and Andres formed a friendship in Davis fueled by of their prolonged involvement as co-workers at APEX Cycles and the Davis/Sacramento bicycling community.

After running in to each other at numerous events through mutual friends, Jane and Marissa found wonderful, genuine friendship shared over passion for Kingdom Hearts and disdain for drama.

Darius and Dave have mostly hung out by proxy of their significant others, Rosa and Marissa. But across many family gatherings and road trips with the Corpuz family, they found that their selflessness and constant willingness to help others made them a lot more similar than they would appear.
