The Stanley Hotel
The Stanley Hotel is famous for its old world charm on the legendary grounds overlooking Rocky Mountain National Park. Immerse yourself in the historic haunted night tour at the Stanley Hotel... After dark! This 75 minute walking tour will introduce you to Mr. F.O. Stanley, his wife Flora, Stephen King, and other noteworthy visitors of last 110 years. The Stanley Night Tour is a unique way to experience the hotel's history, architecture, folklore, and pop culture (the movie The Shining) with a knowledgeable storyteller under the ambiance of nighttime in the Rocky Mountains.
Eldora Mountain Resort
If there’s SNOW! Eldora Resort, is located only about an hour and a half south of Estes Park near the town of Nederland. It is an easy drive, on well-maintained highways, including a stretch along the Peak to Peak scenic byway. A perfect option for groups with some skiers or snowboarders and others who wish to stay back to snowshoe in the park or shop the village. The local mountain shop offers rental ski equipment and passes to Eldora. Make everyone happy - including your budget - by spending your "ski trip" in Estes Park.
Trail Ridge Road
Trail Ridge Road is closed during the winter, and often remains closed until late spring or early summer depending on the snowpack. It requires access to Rocky Mountain National Park even for local residents. The road crosses the Continental Divide at Milner Pass (elev. 10,758 ft or 3,279 m) and reaches a maximum elevation of 12,183 ft (3,713 m), near Fall River Pass (elev. 11,796 ft or 3,595 m). Near the highest point on the road is another pass, Iceberg Pass (elev. 11,827 ft or 3,605 m). Peak to Peak Highway

Boulder Beer Company
In 1979 two professors at the University of Colorado started Boulder Beer Company, Colorado’s First Craft Brewery. At that time there were only 42 other operating breweries in the country! The original site of the brewery was a small farm northeast of Boulder, the brew house sharing space in a shed originally housing a few goats.

Downtown Golden
Golden is where Zak and I called our first home together! It is a city and former gold rush town at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, in Colorado. Clear Creek Trail is a network of paths running along a waterway. It passes Clear Creek White Water Park, a kayaking course. The Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum has exhibits on earth science and mining history. Northeast is the Colorado Railroad Museum, with vintage trains and an 1800s-style railroad depot.
Saint Malo's Chapel on the Rock
The Chapel on the Rock is a functioning Catholic chapel and tourist landmark in Allenspark, Colorado, USA. The chapel is located on the grounds of the Saint Malo Retreat, Conference, and Spiritual Center of the Catholic Archdiocese of Denver. The chapel is open to the public.
The Pearl Street Mall
The Pearl Street Mall is a four-block pedestrian mall in Boulder, Colorado. The pedestrian area stretches from 11th Street to 15th Street along Pearl Street and is home to a number of businesses and restaurants as well as the Boulder County Courthouse.
