Fiona and Trevor grew up in Puyallup, Washington and attended the same high school. Although they knew each other and were part of the same friend group, they didn't become close until college. At Western Washington University, Trevor was pursuing a degree in biology and Fiona a degree in geology, both of which shared many of the same prerequisite courses. Their friendship gradually grew closer as they became lab partners and study partners, discovering that their interests and passions aligned just as well as their coursework did. After a New Years Eve kiss, a whirlwind romance snowballed into something incredible. The two of them moved in together and finished out their degrees, despite a pandemic! They underwent six moves as a couple traveling from their college town to rural eastern Washington, and then south to Salt Lake City, Utah where they remain today. They prefer to be at each other's sides whenever possible and delight in adventure and discovery together, whether it be a delicious recipe, a hideaway vacation, or a new hike to bring their dog Rune on.
