What should I wear?

What is the schedule of events? When should I arrive?

Answer

Please see the "Schedule" tab on our website for full details of events happening during the weekend. We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the wedding ceremony to find a seat.

How do I book a room at White Point Beach Resort?

Answer

If you go to the White Point Beach Website, it'll likely show everything is booked for this weekend...don't worry...we got you covered! All the rooms are within our wedding block! Simply do the following: 1. During core business hours (M-F 9-5), call Events Reservation Agent (Kayleen) at 1-800-565-5068 ext. 810 . 2. If on weekend, call Reservations Department at 1-800-565-5068 ext. 450 . 3. If unable to reach via phone, then, send email to Kayleen at kwhalenjacobs@whitepoint.com. 4. Tell them "Gouthro Lee Wedding" to book rooms in our wedding block. 5. Then, they'll let you know what rooms are available. Note: There is a 2 night minimum stay with check-in at 4PM on Friday and check-out at 11AM on Sunday.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

If you are staying at White Point, you can either walk to the Main Lodge for the wedding ceremony or the venue can transport you around the property if you arrange via the front desk. There will be parking next to your specific accommodations on the property. If you are not staying at White Point, you will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the wedding (please arrange for taxis or designated driver if drinking). There is parking onsite next to the main lodge for guests.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. The reception will be indoors.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you a chance to relax and enjoy the evening with us.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we would love to invite everyone if we could, our venue has a maximum limit on guests. Your RSVP form will indicate the number of guests you are able to bring.
