FAQs

Question

How do I watch the livestream?

Answer

Through this link! https://evt.live/melaniefinster/melanie-and-tyler-s-wedding

Question

What is the virtual attendance?

Answer

We completely understand if guests can’t attend, especially given the pandemic. We are offering to livestream the ceremony so loved ones can watch from the comfort of their homes if they can’t attend in person. If you choose this option, please indicate so on your RSVP and include a good email address.

Question

I’m nervous about Covid, will it be safe?

Answer

We are making every effort to ensure our celebration is as safe as possible. We have worked with all our vendors to adjust accordingly and add extra precautionary measures. We will also provide masks and hand sanitizer for guests to use. If you are still uncomfortable, we encourage you to attend virtually as your health is very important to us.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm, so please arrive no later than 15 minutes before in order to get your seat so you don't miss anything!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/Business will be just fine! Some good examples are: sundresses, skirts and blouses, dress pants and button downs, etc. Please no jeans or sneakers!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We just ask that you include them in your RSVP, so we know how many are coming. We will not be providing any childcare during the ceremony or reception. So, if you decide to bring your children, please keep an eye on them throughout the event.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for him to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.

Question

What’s the bar situation?

Answer

We'll provide an open bar as well as multiple non-alcoholic options. We only ask that you please tip your bartender! Per venue restrictions you may NOT bring any personal alcohol to the event.
