Our welcome drinks attire is cocktail but not too fancy, really the only rule is no jeans for men and women, slacks are totally fine. For the wedding and reception, we ask our guests to please wear black tie - if you don't own a tux, a matching suit set is fine. Ladies, please think dresses/jumpsuits/etc.
We are on a tight schedule given there is a candlelit concert at the church on Friday nights, so we would really appreciate if all our guests could get to the church before 4:30pm, we will try to be as prompt as possible!
While this will be a traditional Episcopal service, we have friends and family from a variety of faiths and religions, so there will not be communion at this service.
Nothing scheduled for now but please circle back closer to the wedding date to see if this changes!
Nothing planned! There is so much to do and explore in America's historic triangle, please take the day to get home before the Sunday scaries hit, or stay an extra day! The "Things to Do" page is filled with tons of activities all over the area.
As of now, only extended family is invited to bring their children to the wedding, but we will reach out to all our guests with kids if this changes since Williamsburg is a great experience for kids of all ages. For the welcome drinks, all guests, kids included, are invited, so if you need help finding childcare for just the wedding evening, please let us know!
