FAQs

If you have any questions other than the ones we have listed, please reach out to our wonderful wedding planner, Magdalena, at magda@magdalenaevents.com
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We understand that there is so much up in the air right now, but we promise we are doing everything possible to ensure your safety, comfort, and good time! If possible, we would love it if you could RSVP by June 3rd, but we want you to know we completely understand if you have to change your plans due to safety concerns.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We LOVE your kids, but due to the limitations presented by the COVID-19 pandemic and the fact that our wedding will be on a working farm, we would prefer if you keep them at home. If you are traveling out of state and cannot make other accommodations, please reach out to us and we will work with you to find a solution.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be parking available on the farm and golf carts to take you to/from the ceremony.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will have shuttles running between the two hotels where we have booked room blocks (See: Travel) and the farm. If you booked an Air BnB in either Hudson or Kingston, feel free to head over to those areas to catch the shuttle!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Because of COVID-19 limitations, unfortunately you can only bring a date if your invitation specifies that. Sadly, we had to keep our numbers pretty tight. If you are unsure, feel free to reach out to us!

Question

What if I’m not vaccinated +2 weeks by July 3rd?

Answer

We are asking that all of our guests over 16 years of age be fully vaccinated before they attend our wedding. We understand that for some this is not possible. If you are not vaccinated +2 weeks by July 3rd you will have to provide proof of a negative Covid test on the day of the wedding that was taken no longer than 72 hours before July 3rd and you will need to wear a mask when not seated. The same rules will apply for the July 4th party.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

This is a great question! For now, we are saying 4:00pm, but there is a possibility we will have to do rapid testing in order to comply with NYS recommendations. Plan to be in town at least by noon the day of the wedding and you will be golden.
