Is there a dress code?

Answer

We hope you will use our wedding as an excuse to dress up! Semi - formal to formal. No denim please.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will have a shuttle running. Please see the travel tab for further details.

Question

Where can I park if I'm driving to the venue?

Answer

Use the parking garage at 910 E. Michigan Street, Milwaukee. Look for the parking garage that says "Museum Center Park" (closer to the lake) - Not Secure Park. You will be able take the elevator up from the parking structure. Please note, event parking rates will be in affect and it will be $20 for the day. If you are planning to park at the venue, please text Mandi at 920-287-5222 and I will send you a discount QR code to scan at exit.

Are there any COVID-19 precautions?

Answer

We are requesting all guests get a rapid test within 24 hours of attending the wedding. We sent out an email with further details and testing options, if you did not receive the email, please email Mandi at stengelstevensonwedding@gmail.com.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our wedding will be vegan friendly and will have a buffet with plentiful options. If you have other dietary restrictions please let Mandi know at the time of RSVP.

Can I bring additional guests than listed on the invitation?

Answer

We wish we could invite everyone to our wedding! Please keep your guests limited to who was formally invited to the wedding. As much as we love your children, we hope you can enjoy the night on us and celebrate your own love as a couple. If you have any concerns please contact Mandi.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 20, 2021. Please wait until you receive your formal invitation in case we need to make any changes to our guest list due to ongoing COVID concerns or restrictions. Invitations are expected to be sent out in early July 2021.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are so excited to embark on this journey of matrimony, and we see our next big step as buying our first home together. Although we have a few traditional gifts on our registry, our priority right now is saving up for that home. If you’d like, please help us achieve that goal by contributing to our First Home fund. You can find our gift registry and house fund on our website under the Registry tab. Our Registry is through Target & Crate & Barrel. If you prefer to shop in person, you can find our registries at Target and Crate & Barrel. As we are in the process of moving, please send gifts to the home of the parents of the bride, Jon & Teri Stengel (registries are prepopulated). Please reach out to Mandi if you need their address, stengelstevensonwedding@gmail.com. There will be a card drop box at the wedding that you can drop cards. The biggest gift of all is your presence on our big day. Thank you so much for keeping us in your minds and hearts—we’re so grateful for all of you!

Is it just me or is there a lot going on in Milwaukee this weekend?

Answer

There sure is! :) One of the things we love about Milwaukee is that in summer and fall there's always at least one festival or game to attend. However, it's not ideal for a wedding weekend when many events got postponed from COVID. We recommend booking your hotel as early as possible and relying on our hotel shuttles for transportation during wedding festivities. While Uber/Lyft may be more expensive than usual, we estimate it will be cheaper than renting a car and paying for parking. This may be a wedding weekend to bring along your walking shoes! We hope you will still be able to enjoy your time in Milwaukee!
