Here's to Forever

We met a few days before we left Ithaca College for the summer at an end of the semester block party. Our mutual friend and maid of honor, Amber, is the reason we stumbled into each other. We spent our final days before heading home, getting to know each other and enjoying the spring time in Ithaca, NY. A year and a half later, we were packing our few belongings, to start our next adventure together in Colorado!

Months before, Lauren booked a backpacking trip to Finch Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. Steve couldn't think of a better place to pop the question, ask Finch to marry him at Finch Lake, perfect. Despite fighting a cold, Lauren strapped her pack on and we made it to Finch Lake. We spent the day relaxing by the lake in our hammock and as the sun began to set, Steve found the perfect place to get down on one knee and captured the moment. We were treated to an incredible sunset just after Lauren said yes!
