Question

What is expected of guests to attend in person, with regards to COVID-19?

Answer

In order to keep all guests and venue staff safe, our venue is requiring that all guests attending in person meet one or both of these criteria: Are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (two rounds of Pfiezer or Moderna, or one round of Johnson and Johnson), with at least two weeks since receiving the final dose at the time of the wedding. AND/OR Have received a negative COVID-19 test taken within 3-4 days of the event, recommended to be taken on the Tuesday or Wednesday (June 1st or 2nd) of the week before the wedding to receive results in time. IMPORTANT: If you are attending in person, you will be asked to show proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test at the door. Please bring a photo on your phone or paper proof with you! If you have received the full course of your vaccine plus two weeks before our wedding date, you do not need to be tested. The venue asks that you do not attend in-person if you are feeling sick or are unable to meet the criteria stated above.

Question

What is the venue doing to keep things safe with regards to COVID-19?

Answer

Our venue also has several precautionary measures in place to keep us and our guests safe during our wedding. These include: Several SARS-rated air filtration systems throughout the venue’s indoor spaces, circulating all air within the building at a rate of 6-7 times per hour. Hand sanitizer and masks provided for guests. All guests will be temperature-checked at the door. All Manor staff will be masked throughout the event. Wedding day events will be outdoors as much as possible, weather permitting.

Question

Will there be an option for me to participate, even if I am unable to attend in-person?

Answer

Yes! Please provide your email address on your RSVP card and we will send you instructions on how to attend virtually. We recognize that these are crazy times, and if you feel uncomfortable coming, we totally understand. We will be providing a live-stream of the event through Zoom so you can still log on and join in on our special day!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 in the afternoon, so we’d recommend you arrive around 4:30 to allow time for parking and getting cozy before we begin.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Invitations will be going out in early April. Please RSVP by May 2, 2021.

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?

Answer

Dinner will be the same for all guests, unless you have dietary restrictions. Each dinner plate will have the same two entrees and two sides. Your meal will be adjusted if needed to accommodate for any dietary restrictions you may have. Please indicate any restrictions on your RSVP return card, including any food allergies.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to limit our guest list and make some tough calls. Because of this, we'd ask that you please only bring a plus one if your invitation indicates that it is addressed to you and one other. As always, feel free to ask one of us if you're unsure!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our general dress code is cocktail attire/semi-formal, but beyond that, wear whatever makes you feel your best!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but unfortunately due to anticipated COVID-19 restrictions on our guest list, we're asking you to fly solo and enjoy the night off!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be complementary valet parking provided on-site. Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Lord Thompson Manor.
