AlannaAlanna

Bree's Matron of Honor

Alanna is my older sister and best friend. We’ve been stuck together since the day I was born—and rumor has it, she wanted to throw me in the trees when we first met. (Honestly, fair.) Luckily for me, she kept me around. She’s the reason I get to be the “cool aunt” to two amazing kiddos, the only person I trust to spatchcock a turkey AND wrangle a wedding timeline, and truly the most badass woman I know. She’s also the only one who shares my borderline-religious obsession with pumpkin spice coffee. I was Alanna’s Maid of Honor first, and now it’s my turn to have her by my side. She knows how to get sh*t done, keep things fun, and most importantly, keep me sane. Basically, she’s everything I could ask for in a Sister, Maid of Honor—and then some.

MichelleMichelle

Steph's Best Matron

Michelle isn’t just my sister—she’s my lifelong best friend, biggest supporter, and now, the best best man. Whether she’s offering solid advice, showing up exactly when I need her, or transforming into her hilarious alter-ego “Miranda” at just the right moment, she’s always brought laughter and love into my life. She’s also the incredible mom of my two awesome nieces, which just adds to her legend status. Having her stand by my side means everything—and let’s be honest, who else could handle this role with as much style, sarcasm, and heart?

MakaiMakai

Bree's Best Maid (Bestie for the Restie)

Makai and I go way back—to our college party days, when our friendship first kicked off in 2011. Since then, she’s become more than a best friend—she’s family. Through every high, every low, and every chaotic in-between, Makai has been my rock. During one of my darkest moments, she took me on a road trip from Florida to Pennsylvania just to make sure I had good company. That’s who she is—loyal, selfless, and always showing up. She’s also—casual flex—the quarterback for the Pittsburgh Passion women’s tackle football team (I mean… come on), which tells you everything you need to know about her strength, leadership, and heart. We’ve never sugarcoated anything with each other—we always keep it real. She listens without judgment, loves without conditions, and lifts me up every single time I need it. Makai is the definition of loyalty and support, and I’m beyond honored to have my Bestie for the Restie standing by my side.

JesseJesse

Steph's Best Maid (Yes, Another Leading Lady in a Suit)

Jesse has been in my life for nearly twenty years, and my best friend for most of that time. She’s the kind of person who’s always in my corner—no judgment, just unwavering support, honesty, and the kind of loyalty that’s hard to come by. Of course, every now and then, her alter-ego Patricia (inspired by the movie Split) makes an appearance—usually when things need a little dramatic flair or unexpected chaos. But underneath it all, Jesse is one of the most grounded, loving, and hilarious people I know. Having her as one of my best women is more than fitting—it’s an honor.

KaityKaity

Bree's Bridesmaid ( The Momma of the Group)

Kaity is the momma of the group—equal parts nurturing, crafty, and ready with snacks. We technically met through Makai, the "leader" of our totally real, definitely not-a-cult cult. (Inside joke... kinda.) We’ve been friends since 2018, and in that time she’s introduced me to the very important world of trash TV, shared her love of arts and crafts, and proven time and again that she’s the calm, cool, and collected one you want in your corner. She’s a total softie with a wild side—case in point: gay prom, one cigarette, and the infamous quote-slash-wail, “It was the cigarettttteee.” Kaity’s the kind of person who takes care of everyone, even total strangers. She’s kind, endlessly giving, and an amazing “mommy” to her niece and nephew—who I’ve officially adopted as my own. She loves taxidermy, crocheting, and has lived a life so wild she needs to write a memoir (seriously, I’ll preorder it). She’s got the biggest heart, the best advice, and the warmest energy—and I’m so lucky to have her standing by my side.

AshleyAshley

Steph's Groomswoman (Veteran of the Friendship Battlefield)

Ashley has somehow managed to stick with me for over two decades—and honestly, that says it all. She’s loyal, kind, and one of the most genuinely supportive people I’ve ever known. Through every chapter of life, she’s been a constant source of steadiness, laughter, and real friendship. We first met through mutual friends at our unofficial hangout spot—an unforgettable mix of pool halls, White Castle parking lots. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was ours. And in all the years since, Ashley has remained one of the people I know I can always count on. She also taught me that "laughter"—or, let’s say laugher—can come from the most unexpected places. Having her by my side as a groomswoman feels exactly right.

JanaJana

Bree's Bridesmaid (Jana Montana)

Jana came into my life when she started dating Makai, and from the very beginning, it felt like she’d always been part of the crew. Even though we’ve only known each other for a few years, I trust her more than most. She’s the kind of friend who shows up with her whole heart—and if necessary, will sacrifice a shoe to serve as a tripod for a spontaneous photoshoot. One of my favorite memories? The time we found a giant pile of leaves in the park and fully committed to childhood joy—burying her under them with just her face sticking out so she could breathe. That moment gave birth to the iconic “Jack” inside joke, and honestly, we’ve been laughing ever since. Oh—and did I mention she’s the wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Passion women’s tackle football team? Yeah, she’s that cool. Strong, loyal, hilarious, and full of love—Jana is the real deal, and I’m so grateful to have her standing by my side.

DreaDrea

Steph's Groomswoman (Mom of the Group)

Drea is the kind of person who carries the world in her bag—literally. Sunscreen, meds, snacks, you name it— always prepared for anything life throws our way. While she might come off as a bit stern and no-nonsense, she’s always had my back, and, when needed, she doesn’t hesitate to keep me in check. We go way back to those insane days at the pool hall, where our friendship started over two decades ago, Drea has been a constant presence through it all, as she’s witnessed, Stephanwolf, in all his glory more than anyone. Having her by my side as a groomswoman is a reminder that some friendships only get stronger over time—and I’m incredibly lucky to have Drea in mine.

RJRJ

Steph's Groomswoman (Master of Convos & Competitive Spirit)

RJ is the kind of person who can hold a conversation for hours—and trust me, you’ll never quite know where it's going. With that signature Gemini energy, she keeps things unpredictable and exciting. She’s got that back-and-forth nature down to a science—respectfully, of course. We've had some wildly competitive moments and through all the laughs, challenges, and everything in between, she’s become one of my closest friends and one of the most authentic people I know. Did I mention she’s played with the Women’s National Team for USA Ball Hockey and competed with them internationally?!? Having her by my side as a groomswoman is like having a ride-or-die partner who knows how to bring the energy, keep it real, and never back down from a little healthy competition. Lesbro for life.

ValVal

Steph's Groomswoman (The One Who Brings the Fun)

Val’s energy is contagious, and her sense of humor always brings the laughs. We met through Drea back when we were concert junkies, and she’s been a constant source of fun ever since. Her legendary nickname, Turbo, was earned on a girls' trip to Salt Shack, where things got a little wild. Even when migraines slow her down, she always finds a way to keep the vibe light and fun. Having Val as a groomswoman means always having someone who brings joy and a little chaos wherever she goes.

MichelleMichelle

Mother of the Bride/Bree

There are no words big enough to capture everything my mom, Michelle, means to me. She is the heart and soul of our family—the glue that’s held us all together through every season of life. She is strength, warmth, laughter, and unconditional love wrapped into one beautiful soul. Some of my most treasured memories are the simple ones: our Mommy Mondays watching The Voice, our shared love with Gilmore Girls, and the way she’s always gone out of her way to make every holiday feel magical. But more than the memories, it’s who she is that means everything to me. From the very beginning, she believed in me. She saw my love for art before I even knew what it could become and nurtured it with art classes, encouragement, and endless support. She’s never once let me face life’s challenges alone. She has been there—every single time—with open arms, a listening ear, and a strength that always lifts me back up. Her love has never wavered. And the way she’s embraced and supported my love for Steph speaks volumes. It means more to me than I can ever truly say. It’s shown me, once again, that her love is absolute. It’s unwavering. It’s home. Having her stand beside me on my wedding day is a gift I’ll hold in my heart forever.

PennyPenny

Mother of the Groom/Steph

My mom is the heart of our family, and her strength, compassion, and unwavering faith have shaped me in ways I’ll never be able to fully express. She has shown me, through her actions, what it truly means to live with love, humility, and service. Whether it’s volunteering her time to the Catholic Church, helping those in need, or simply offering kindness to everyone she meets, she embodies the very best of what it means to be human. Her ability to love and serve others—without judgment, and with an open heart—is something I admire deeply. She doesn’t just live her faith; she is an example of how we should treat all people, no matter their background, beliefs, or identity. I’ve known her my entire life (obviously!), but every day I continue to learn from her and am proud to call her my mom. Having her by my side today means everything.

RubenRuben

Father of the Bride/Bree

My dad, Ruben, is the true definition of strength, resilience, and love. He started from humble beginnings and, through sheer determination and hard work, built a life full of opportunity—not just for himself, but for all of us. No matter what life has thrown his way, he has met every challenge head-on, never losing his spirit or his drive to keep moving forward. He’s not only worked tirelessly to give us the best life he could—he’s also shown me the importance of balance: to work hard, but also to live fully. Some of my favorite memories are our trips to Mexico when I was little—drinking horchata, exploring the markets in Juárez, and just soaking in the beauty of being together. He’s the reason I fell in love with travel and the world’s wonders. Without him, this wedding truly wouldn't be possible. He’s backed me every step of the way—with no hesitation, no questions asked—just pure, unwavering love. Having my dad here, safe and healthy, by my side on my wedding day means everything to me. I am endlessly lucky, deeply grateful, and so proud to be his daughter.

SteveSteve

Father of the Groom/Steph

My dad, Steve, is the kind of man whose devotion to his family—especially his kids and grandkids—has always been unwavering. His love is steady, and his support is limitless. Throughout my life, he has been a constant source of wisdom, always taking the time to educate himself and approach life’s challenges with a philosophical, analytical mindset. Dad has a unique ability to see the whole picture, and his insights into life, public service in politics, and everything in between have shaped who I am today. He’s also one of the strongest people I know—having battled cancer and still working a physically demanding job during treatment. His resilience and determination are a testament to his character and serve as an inspiration to all of us. I’ve known him my entire life (naturally), but every day I find new reasons to admire and appreciate him. Having him by my side today is truly an honor.
