Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we would prefer formal wear from all of our guests. Long dresses for ladies and jackets with tie or bowtie for men.

Is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the rooftop of the Yacht Club (weather permitting). Followed by a cocktail hour downstairs that will be both indoor and outdoor. The reception will be entirely indoors.

What’s the weather like that time of year?

Answer

Fort Lauderdale in April generally experiences warm, pleasant weather. Expect high temperature in the mid-80s and lows in the 70s.

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotels, ceremony, and after-party?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. We strongly encourage guests to use rideshare services or taxis, as Tortuga Music Festival will cause increased traffic and potential delays near the beach. Valet parking will be available at the ceremony venue, and parking will be available at the after-party for those who prefer to drive. Please note: the Intracoastal bridge may open on the half hour and hour throughout the weekend. We recommend allowing extra travel time accordingly.
