It all started in medical school — a place where caffeine and textbooks usually outshine romance. But during group tutoring sessions, Jeff couldn’t help but notice Dana. One evening after a long day of lectures, Jeff decided to stop by Dana’s apartment with an ice cream treat for two — completely unaware that ice cream happens to be the quickest way to Dana’s heart. From that night on, they were inseparable: studying side by side in the library, finding the best happy hours in Brickell, and dancing their way through Miami nights. After four amazing years, Jeff faced a tough decision — his residency match took him away from Miami, while Dana stayed behind. But distance didn’t stand a chance. They kept their bond strong, and soon after, adopted their first “fluffy child,” Ollie, who became the glue (and the fur) that kept them even closer. Dana soon followed to Washington, D.C., making the move to build a life together in a brand-new city. There, they’ve built a life full of laughter, late-night adventures, and mutual support. Between Dana’s cooking experiments and Jeff’s endless jokes, there’s never a dull (or hungry) moment in their home.
