Matron of Honor
and Officiant Cassie is Karina's older sister by 6.5 years, and despite the gap, the two are as close as sisters can be. They call each other nearly daily to discuss anything and everything, including reality TV, family drama, and whether that mole is worth a trip to the doctor. Karina trusts Cassie with her life, which is exactly why she is her Matron of Honor. Not only does she have experience in the role, no one (other than Christopher) knows Karina better. Cassie has also agreed to be the happy couple's officiant, because she is superwoman and can do it all.
Best Man
Jack is Christopher's brother and is honored to be Christopher’s Best Man. If you haven’t figured it out yet - they’re identical twins! They grew up together in San Anselmo, and eventually split temporarily while Jack went to college at Carleton University and studied Interactive Media Design. He moved back to San Francisco during COVID, and, eventually, he, Christopher, and Karina reunited and started living together with their two cats in the Mission District. He's had so much fun watching their love for each other grow, and it’s been an absolute privilege to witness their engagement and wedding planning first-hand.
Bridesmaid
Aliya is Karina's oldest friend. They met in the early 2010s at Patrick Henry High School in San Diego through the theatre and choir departments, where they fostered their mutual love for the arts. They both had the honor and privilege of seeing each other at their darkest, most awkward teen moments. Karina then followed Aliya to Sonoma State University to pursue their acting degrees, they both met Christopher there, and the rest is history. So without Aliya, none of us would be here!
Groomsman
Born and raised in the Bay Area, now living the salty life in Fort Lauderdale, Robert is a lifelong surfer, ocean photographer, and currently serves as Creative Director for a yacht company. As Christopher’s older brother, he’s proud and honored to be part of the big day (and slightly amazed his brother managed to lock down someone as amazing as Karina).
Bridesmaid
Originally, one of Aliya's first friends at SSU, Régine and Karina met at an improv show while Karina was touring the school. Over the years, their friendship grew stronger with the help of a few glasses of wine, yapping about their respective cats, and fighting over Love Island cast members. This summer, Régine will be moving to Paris to pursue her Master of Science degree in Digital Marketing and Data Analytics at Grenoble École de Management. She may be moving all the way to France, but she wouldn't miss this wedding for the world.
Groomsman
Euan is beyond honored to be one of Chris’s groomsmen. They met through theatre in college, where Euan had a front row (or rather backstage) seat to the blossoming relationship of the to-be-weds. He is especially eager to move in with Chris and Karina, where he will continue to beat him in FIFA as official roommates in the Fall of this year!
Bridesmaid
Maikeila and Karina met working at Palm House, a tropical-themed restaurant in San Francisco's Marina district. Customers and coworkers alike kept confusing them because they both had curly brown hair, and they quickly became the "tall one" and the "short one." After a few years, Maikeila left and began working in event rentals at Bright. Thankfully, she moved into a new apartment near Christopher, Karina, and Jack with another of their coworkers (Gabriel), and now they're just a short walk away. They frequently pop in on each other.
Groomsman
John is a program manager at Meta, helping build their virtual reality headsets. Fifteen years ago, he met Chris at a summer camp where they were both campers and then counselors together. He currently lives in San Jose, California, and outside of work, he's pretty much a full-time cat dad to his orange tabby, Gus.
Bridesman
Gabe and Karina met goofing off at the same restaurant as Maikeila, Palm House, but eventually, the time came to move on. Gabe poached Karina so that they could continue to work together at their new restaurant, Zuni Café. Gabe and Karina's birthdays are only three days apart, and instead of throwing two parties in one week, they enjoy celebrating together with one large, themed party every April. They are now three years in, and the themes are just getting wackier and wackier. Gabe is honored to be a bridesman and can't wait to cheers some newlyweds!
Groomsman
Cameron is so pleased to be a part of this celebration. Christopher Goodman is the friend he has known the longest, who remains an active member of his life. He was the first person he bonded with after swapping schools in 2nd grade, and it has been a pleasure growing up and seeing the men they have both turned into. They have seen each other in their gawky adolescence as well as accomplishing goals they used to talk about as kids. He could not be more proud of the man Christopher has proven to be, the passion he puts into his art, and the love he puts into the world. Christopher deserves all the happiness he gets and Cameron is just happy to be along for the ride.
Bridesmaid
Lindsey and Karina met while studying Acting at Sonoma State University. She and her soon-to-be husband, Euan, met in their first week of freshman year, and then they met Christopher and Karina shortly after. Lindsey continued her education at CUNY-Brooklyn College, getting her MFA in Performing Arts Management, and is currently working at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. While Euan and Christopher bonded over FIFA and silly memes, Lindsey and Karina bonded over their love of thrift shopping and rosé. Lindsey is a fellow 2025 bride, and, on top of planning her own wedding, she has been immensely helpful with this wedding as well.
