Christopher and Karina first met while studying theatre at Sonoma State University. They shared classes and ran in the same social circles, but weren't very close until Fall 2018 when they were both cast as the leads in a German play called Woyzeck. You would think it was a romantic play, but it was quite the opposite. A dark and violent dramatic play required Christopher and Karina to spend hours in fight choreography and intimacy coordination rehearsals. The longer they spent in rehearsal together, the more they bonded and developed feelings for each other and they started dating shortly after the play concluded. Christopher soon graduated in the spring of 2019 and the two of them spent most of the year in a long-distance relationship. It wasn't ideal, but, as they say, distance makes the heart grow fonder. The Covid-19 pandemic hit in the spring semester of Karina's senior year of college and the two of them hunkered down together at Christopher's parent's house in San Anselmo, CA. It felt like the world was ending, but these two were just happy to be spending so much quality time together. In July of that year, Christopher and Karina signed the lease for their first apartment together in San Francisco and they've been living together ever since. From the exciting times to the mundane day-to-day, these two have enjoyed it all together. They are now in their third apartment, rooming with Christopher's brother, Jack, and have adopted two cats together, Edward and Junebug. Christopher has started his own film production company, My Own Backyard Films LLC, and Karina is an actor who is serving at Zuni Cafe. They are so excited to spend the rest of their lives together and share this beautiful wedding with you!
