Yeah, we know we have been engaged for quite a while, and together longer than that, but it is finally time to tie the knot!
Both the Charleston Airport (CHS) and the North Charleston Station (served by Amtrak) are relatively close to the downtown area. Charleston is very walkable and both the Hilton Garden Inn and Marriott Hotel offer free shuttles to some of the big attractions downtown. Both hotels also offer parking for guests.
Yes, Charleston is a BIG tourist city. The two hotels we have recommended are very close to the ceremony space but feel free explore Charleston's may other lodging options. Don't forget the farewell brunch will be hosted at the Hilton Garden Inn from 9-11 am the day after the wedding!
The short answer is yes. July temperatures regularly reach the 90s, and the lowcountry is known for its humidity. But fear not! Our ceremony isn't until the evening, and is right on the water so temperatures should be pretty comfortable. We also have fans and tenting available if needed, and will have plenty of water on hand to help everyone stay cool and hydrated! That being said, please still dress for the heat.
The bride and groom can be reached at FinallyMack2018@gmail.com
Please let us know ahead of time if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions! Our menu will feature seafood (shellfish and fish), chicken, duck, and veggies. Our caterer can have special dishes available (for example, if you're vegan) if you let us know in advanced.
Contact the bride and groom ASAP! Our caterers and venue try to be flexible, but the number of guests will be fixed after a certain date.
We will have a day-of coordinator. Check back here for more information as it becomes available.
