The cut-off date to make your reservation is August 19, 2021, by 5:00 pm EST. Parking is free! PLEASE DO NOT USE 3RD PARTY BOOKING SITES TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS.

We have reserved additional rooms at this Holiday Inn Express just down the street from the wedding! Kindly CALL TO MAKE YOUR RESERVATION under the "Alexa Waters" wedding block. The cut-off date is July 30, 2021, by 5:00 PM.

Shuttle

Shuttle From The Mt. Vernon Grand To The Venue

September 4, 2021 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

Two small shuttles will begin making rounds from the hotel to the ceremony starting at 3:30 pm. Round trips to and from the venue are approx. 20-25 minutes. SPACE IS LIMITED, SO PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY. Shuttle service will resume at 10:00 pm for those who are partied out and ready to hit the hay! Shuttle service will end in the evening at 12:00 am.

First Fridays in downtown Mount Vernon

ATTENTION OUT-OF-TOWN GUESTS: looking to travel to Mount Vernon early? PLEASE NOTE: Traffic will be CLOSED one block north of Public Square, around the Square, and on South Main Street down to Ohio Avenue starting at 4:30 PM for First Friday (September 3, 2021)! First Friday is a fun and popular local event on the downtown square from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. YOU WILL NEED TO ACCESS TO HOTEL LOT FROM GAY STREET, which is a ONE-WAY! If you plan to arrive before 4:30 PM, you should be able to access the lot from the square. Please feel free to enjoy First Friday with the community! - Great food, live music, and family fun for all!

COVID-19

If you wish to join us on our wedding day, we ask that you assess your risk before attendance and kindly comply with the COVID safety measures listed below: -All vaccinated and unvaccinated guests are required to wear a mask when attending our indoor events, i.e., our rehearsal dinner and welcome event. Please practice social distancing when you are able. -Unvaccinated guests are required to wear a mask when not seated eating, or drinking during our reception. Masks are optional for fully vaccinated guests; however, they are highly encouraged! Masks will be provided; Please feel free to wear your own. -If you or someone in your household has recently been exposed to COVID, we ask that you get tested before attending. -Please mask in your daily lives when venturing into public spaces leading up to our wedding. If you are unwilling to adhere to the policies or feel unwell, we ask that you decline the invitation to attend our wedding and celebrate with us from afar. Thank you!

Mt. Vernon is a very easy town to get around. Please note that there is no ride share service (Uber, Lyft, etc.), so be prepared to walk, drive, or carpool wherever you need to go in the area.

Columbus Airport (CMH)

John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) is about an hour from Mt. Vernon. It is the closest airport to fly into for our out-of-state and international guests.
