Can't wait to celebrate with you!

We met 17 years ago at an office in Fountain Valley as nightclub promoters. Throughout the years, we partied together and remained good friends. Such good friends that Derrick would come to visit me with protein bars at 5 o'clock in the morning at the hotel I was working night shifts at, before heading into work. And in exchange, I would give him our deliciously warm Double Tree chocolate cookies. I am pretty sure that's the only reason why he came by. I mean...they were really good cookies. Our timing was never right. but as luck would have it, we were both single one cold December night in 2008, at a bowling alley with Derrick's family. After a few shots, it was evident that Derrick needed to take care of me, and the rest was history. We have never looked back since that night, and have even strengthened our bond through a long distance relationship. On our 11th year anniversary, Derrick proposed in front of our families and restaurant goers and I said yes, obviously. Our relationship has been a decade in the making, and now we can't wait to get the show on the road. ~thu
