Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

We have decided not to have a gift registry. In lieu of this we ask our loved to contribute to our newlywed fund in which ever way they feel most comfortable (e.g., Zelle, Venmo, physical envelope.)

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We ask that the ceremony portion of our wedding is ‘unplugged.’ An unplugged ceremony is when the couple requests their guests to put away, silence or turn off all of their devices (cell phones, cameras, etc.) for the duration of the ceremony. We have decided to do this to encourage everyone in attendance to be present and in the moment. Additionally, to allow for the photographer and videographer to capture our special moment without flash disruptions. We appreciate you in advance for respecting our wishes and fully sharing in our moment. Please feel free to take all the pictures at the conclusion of the ceremony. The Rookery is a stunning architectural building that NEEDS to be photographed!

Question

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be taking place at The Rookery. Address: 209 S La Salle St, Chicago, IL 60604

Question

Where can I stay?

Answer

We understand that many of our guests will be traveling from out of town to join us for our special day. To ensure your comfort, we've arranged a room block at The Lasalle Chicago: 208 S La Salle St, Chicago, IL 60604. It is located directly across the street from The Rookery! No need for transportation. Please see the Accommodations page on our website. If you plan to stay at The Lasalle, please book by August 8th to receive the wedding block discount.

Question

Who should I contact if I have questions about the wedding?

Answer

Please feel free to contact JoAnn or Sean directly to help answer any questions.
