Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes, transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue with is approx. a 20 minute drive from the hotel. Transportation pick up and drop off will be in front of the Aloft hotel.

What dates is the room block for?

Answer

We have special rates specifically for Friday June 4 and Saturday June 5 (wedding night) at both hotels. If necessary, hotel can accommodate the same rate if you need to stay any nights outside the room block.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Charlotte Douglas (CLT) is our recommended airport. As a major hub, it offers the widest selection of flights. If you're exploring alternatives, Concord (USA) may have service from your area, though flight options are much more limited. We suggest checking both when booking your travel. Both are the same distance to the hotels (approx. 25-30 min)

Can I leave my car overnight at the venue?

Answer

**Can I leave my car overnight?** Yes! Guests are welcome to leave their vehicles at the venue overnight following the wedding. However, all vehicles must be picked up by 11:00 AM the following morning. Any vehicles remaining after that time may be subject to towing at the vehicle owner's expense, per venue policy.

Mooresville and the surrounding Lake Norman area, along with Charlotte (CLT), have a ton of great things to do and explore while you're here. We’ve put together a Things to Do page with a few ideas we love—feel free to check it out for inspiration while you’re in town.

How is traffic?

Answer

Traffic around Mooresville and the Lake Norman area is generally light to moderate, but it can slow down depending on the time of day. If you’re using I-77, you may run into heavier congestion during typical commute hours and weekends. There are express lane options available that can help save time, but they are toll lanes or HOV (3+ people). If you’re traveling in on Saturday (the day of the wedding—this is for our chronically late family and friends 😄), please plan extra time so you’re not cutting it close. We’d much rather see you early and relaxed than rushing in at the last minute.
