Our love story began on October 4, 2021, when we swiped right on Tinder (yes, Tinder 😂). It started with a few days of chatting there, then we moved to Snapchat, and before long, we were exchanging phone numbers. For a whole month, we got to know each other, slowly unraveling layers and realizing there was something special between us. Our first date came on November 6, 2021. We went to an anime movie event hosted by one of Cierra’s friends. We spent the evening laying on the floor together, watching the movie—though someone (we won’t name names) fell asleep! Still, the connection was undeniable, and we continued to talk and spend time together after that night. Then, on February 12, 2022, we decided to make it official. Our relationship blossomed from there, and we found ourselves spending more and more time together. Nick eventually moved in, and soon, we started making family memories with our sweet princess, Kaelyn. Family trips became a regular thing, and life felt richer with each passing day. Fast forward to August 11, 2024—Kaelyn’s birthday! We took her to Carowinds to celebrate and ended the day with dinner at Sato’s. While enjoying some saké, Nick made a toast to marriage (of course, Cierra just laughed it off). But later that night, while standing in the kitchen at home, Nick got down on one knee and asked Cierra to marry him. Cierra, caught off guard, laughed and told him to stop playing and get up, thinking it was just a joke. But Nick was serious, and with a heartfelt "yes," the next chapter of our story began.
