FAQs

Question

Are there any COVID-related changes to the wedding day?

Answer

If you are not fully vaccinated, we ask that you get COVID tested the week of the wedding and recommend that you wear a mask. Please let us know of any COVID exposures or positive tests as soon as possible. Please stay safe and healthy! The venue is also taking additional precautions to keep us all safe and we will have masks and hand sanitizer available. ***As COVID numbers fluctuate, we may only be able to accommodate vaccinated guests at the wedding, to ensure optimal safety of everyone involved in this exciting occasion. Thank you for your understanding and patience. We will keep you posted of any changes.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire in any color you like, other than white, of course:). There is no theme for the wedding, but please come wearing your dancing shoes!

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both events are taking place at the Grand Marquise Ballroom in Garner, North Carolina. Please see the "schedule" page for additional information.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All wedding events, including the reception, ceremony, and cocktail hour, will be held indoors.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures for about an hour. Guests can head straight to the foyer, for cocktail hour, where finger foods and beverages will be served.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

Please let us know! We understand that unexpected events arise; therefore, you can change your RSVP on the website until the RSVP deadline. If you have any trouble with the online RSVP process, please contact Zola's customer service department or contact us at rmd0419@gmail.com.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Yes. Parking is free and available on-site, directly outside of the Grand Marquise Ballroom.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. Only guests who have completed the online RSVP process will be allowed to enter the reception. Please contact Requita or Chad if there is a guest you would like to add to your reservation.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Yes! We have blocked a limited number of rooms at hotels in the Raleigh/Garner area. Please visit the "travel" page for details. We will be staying at the Doubletree in downtown Raleigh and there is a hotel block for this location. Most of the hotels listed on the "travel" page are in downtown Raleigh. The Wingate by Wyndham is closest to the wedding/reception venue.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes! Both food and drinks will be served during the reception and cocktail hour. In order to ensure that we are making the most of our time together, there will be a variety of heavy hors d'oeuvres served at the reception. This is done so there will be plenty of time to dance, mingle, and celebrate this exciting occasion together. There will be a short program at the beginning of the reception, lasting 15-20 minutes, but after that, the plan is to eat, drink, and party!

Question

Will there be any vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options?

Answer

There will be a variety of hors d'oeuvres available, including some vegetarian and vegan options.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

All registry items can be found on our "wedding registry" page.

Question

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Yes. Please visit the travel page for details.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #finalee2021 so we can keep track of all of your pictures.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Feel free to contact us via email at rmd0419@gmail.com.
