, (503) 954-1702

This old firehouse serves wood-fire pizzas and other Italian eats with an open kitchen & courtyard. It's where we had our first date and where we got engaged. Expect to fall in love--in more ways than one (like we did!).

AFURI IZAKAYA SE PORTLAND

The Aimsir Distilling Company

2117 Northeast Oregon Street, Portland, OR 97232
, (971) 213-1085

Aimsir is a micro-distillery featuring spirits and small plates. Go for the rose gin, stay for the cold brew bourbon. Mocktails too!

Interurban

Don’t let the bar/tavern vibe fool you— Interurban has a fabulous food menu and an excellent whiskey and bourbon selection.

Boxer Ramen

3003 Northeast Alberta Street, Portland, OR 97211

Did we already recommend ramen? Well here we are again. Give it a shot! It’s not your 99¢ version and worth the trip. Boxer is a quick stop in a fun district in Portland’s east side.

McMenamins Kennedy School

5736 Northeast 33rd Avenue, Portland, OR 97211
, (503) 249-3983

McMenamins is a Portland area staple and the Kennedy School is one of the coolest locations to grab a bite and have a drink. It’s built into an old elementary school and the various classrooms have been turned into mini-restaurants within the campus. Truly unique! The hotel has spa services and there’s a movie theater (in the old gymnasium) on site.
