We are accepting RSVPs on an ongoing basis from when formal invitations are received. Please kindly plan to RSVP by Monday, September 1, 2024. We will not be accepting any RSVPs after this date. If you cannot attend, we will miss you, and would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity.
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. For those of who you are planning to attend our ceremony, guests can arrive as early as 3:30 PM. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to be seated. Guests will be welcomed with a non-alcoholic beverage to start the celebration as they enter!
We are kindly requesting that the dress code for our wedding be semi-formal or black tie optional attire. Attire options such as cocktail dresses and suits with ties are welcome as are tuxes and long formal gowns. As much as we all love our jeans, khakis and sweatshirts, we ask that you please not wear them to our event.
We desire to have an intimate wedding with our closest family and friends. With this and due to limited space, our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those who are formally invited on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation.
While we love your little ones, our wedding and reception are going to be an adults only event unless otherwise noted on your invitation. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us!
In order for everyone to fully celebrate our special day, we are having an “unplugged” wedding ceremony. With this, we kindly request all of our guests to silence their phones and cameras and keep them tucked away. This is to allow the photographers and videographers we have hired to capture the moment and allow guests the chance to be fully present. After the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many pictures as you wish. If you do want to post pictures online, we ask that you just please NOT post any pictures of the bride and groom until they have had the opportunity to do so. For any pictures you post online, we would love for you to use our hashtag #becomingboulays so we can find them. Once we receive all of our professional pictures, we will share them with.
Yes, there is a small parking lot located next to the venue for guests. If you are coming with a group, we encourage you to carpool. If you plan to enjoy yourself and not spend the night, please be sure to carpool with someone or book an uber or lyft ride in advance to get home safely.
Our wedding venue venue sits on the same premises as a charming little inn known as the Briar Barn Inn. We have a room block for both Saturday and Sunday nights at the inn for those who wish to stay. For more information on the room block, please click over to the travel and hotel accommodations tab. You will also find a few other hotels in the nearby area listed, but these do not have room blocks.
The ceremony will take place outside at our venue. Cocktail hour will take place both indoors and outdoors. For reception, it will mostly take place indoors, but there is outdoor access available. In case of rain, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place indoors.
There will be two choices for entrees that you may select from. One will be a chicken dish and the other will be a beef dish. You will be able to make your selection on your invitation.
Yes! Guests can enjoy beer, wine, two signature cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages on us. A champagne toast will also be done toward the beginning of reception. Additional cocktails or mixed drinks can be purchased at the bar. Coffee will also be served during the reception with dessert.

Yes! You can access our registry through our website by clicking on the the heading "Registry" at the top or from the menu. We are registered at Amazon and Crate & Barrel. We appreciate and are so thankful for your contributions to as we are newlyweds looking to purchase their first home.
Both the Briar Barn Inn and The Grove restaurant are non smoking facilities. However, for anyone who would like to smoke, there is a designated smoking section located behind restaurant.
Absolutely! We want to make sure you enjoy your meal on our special day and have your needs met. Please note any allergies on your RSVP or reach out to the bride or groom.
