FAQs

Question

Is this part of Mexico safe?

Answer

We understand why safety might be a concern, and it’s important to feel confident about any destination travel to. Yes, Todos Santos is safe! Lauren and Sarah have been twice by themselves and have had nothing but wonderful, hospitable experiences. We do recommend using basic wisdom as you travel - go out in numbers at night, keep your cars locked with valuables inside, keep your phone on you, etc.

Question

What will the weather be like when we're there?

Answer

March in Todos Santos averages highs of 76° and lows of 51°. Rain is rare during this season. We really recommend packing clothing that will be warm in the cool of the morning and night. *** Bring a jacket to our wedding, it will be chilly at night!!

Question

Answer

No, we do not recommend this. Stick to bottled water or water from reliable sources.

What is the local currency?

Answer

The local currency is Mexican pesos, which you could pull out prior to arrival or on arrival at a local ATM. You will need cash for smaller stores, food stalls, and markets. Credit cards are widely accepted at large institutions.

Should I bring cash?

Answer

Most places take credit cards, but some of our favorite local places only take cash. We recommend bringing cash and exchanging it for pesos upon arrival. If you are driving, you will also need cash for the toll road from the airport into Todos Santos.
