What are Covid-19 protocols to attend this wedding?

Answer

In Spain, vaccines are required to enter most places, so in line with country guidance we ask that all guests attending are vaccinated. Since Arcos is a small town, there may be PCR testing available, but it is slim, so we will have rapid tests for those who want them.

What is the best way to get around?

Answer

*Important* If you are renting a car, please be aware that Arcos is a very small, old town located on a large hill. There are parking lots at the base of the town, and we recommend leaving your car there and using taxi services to take you around. The streets leading into the Parador Hotel are extremely narrow and hilly; we do not recommend driving through town unless absolutely necessary. There are ways to get around without driving through the city center. Some parking lots available are Parking El Paseo, Parking Arcos, and Arcos de la Frontera Aparacamiento, which are all located fairly close to each other at the base of the hill. Taxi services are generally quick and easy to find. Since Andalusia is a large region, we recommend renting a car if you plan on exploring the area beyond the wedding weekend. Cars can be rented at the local airports - Jerez and Seville. Driving from larger airports, like Madrid or Barcelona, will take several hours, so we would suggest coming more south before driving.

If we want to stay somewhere other than recommended, where do we look?

Answer

There are lots of haciendas and guest houses located near our venue, Fain Viejo. If you are looking for hotels or spots nearby, the town we are in is called Arcos de la Frontera, in the larger county of Cádiz, in the region of Andalusia, Spain. Since mostly everything is on site for the weekend, we suggest staying close for at least Friday and Saturday days and evenings!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We will bus from the recommended hotels on the wedding day. Otherwise, transportation from airports or for other events will not be provided by the bride and groom at this time.

Are children welcome at the events?

Answer
