Alex and Evan met on their first day at their first job out of college - working for Target. They became friends, talking sparingly while Evan commuted to Mountain View and Alex was in Colma, and they were united again while working together at the San Francisco Metreon Target. After working together for about a year and becoming very close friends, Evan finally made a move; first inviting Alex to a Sam Smith concert, and then finally moving from the platonic relationship at their Target holiday party at iconic SF dive bar, Butter. Evan and Alex have been together since that Christmas season in 2014, living together in San Francisco, Dublin, and now London. They have traveled the world together and are so excited to have their closest friends and family join in on the travels to Southern Spain, in Arcos de la Frontera, Cádiz.

Alex and Evan were doing long distance in 2021 from Dublin, Ireland to Yountville, CA. When Alex was heading to Vienna, Austria for a work trip, Evan joined and popped the question about ten minutes after Alex arrived at the hotel. They celebrated with Negronis, and spent the following weekend exploring the wine and culinary scene of Vienna and celebrating together doing what they like most.

Spain has always been a special place for Alex and Evan to visit. Their first trip to Europe together was in Spain, and they traveled several times thereafter, visiting Evan's parents, Gary and Linda, who live in Valencia, Spain. They chose to get married in Southern Spain, in a region called Andalusia, where it will be warmest in late October, and has amazing food and culture. Though off the beaten path, Alex and Evan can't wait to show you their side of Spain and celebrate with lots of jamon, cava, and paella with their closest family and friends.
