The wedding weekend takes place in Estes Park from Friday 9/20 to Monday 9/23 and we have designed our events to make this a weekend in the mountains with family and friends. We realize our wedding may be a large trip and expense for some of our guests and welcome you to join us for as much or as little of the weekend as you would like. For guests with more limited travel schedules, we encourage you to arrive by Sunday morning and plan to stay at least Sunday evening in Colorado to be able to attend the ceremony and reception.
Yes! Please see our Travel tab. Please note that September is peak season in Estes Park so we recommend you book lodging as soon as possible. The wedding party will be staying at Fall River Village and you are welcome to stay here with us, but there are several other options within walking distance of our venue as well.
As many guests are staying on site or at properties a short walk from the venue, we are not planning to provide transportation to the ceremony. Please note that taxi and ride share options are limited in Estes Park, and we encourage guests to stay close to the venue. For individuals driving in for the ceremony, there is parking available on site.
We would love to celebrate during the weekend with the whole family. We want this weekend to have a family reunion-style feel, and fun for the whole family. However, while we welcome children to the ceremony, our reception venue has limited space. We will coordinate a separate kid's dinner at the venue. We realize many of our family and friends have young children, and we will be working to help coordinate and provide childcare to help make this weekend family-friendly and accessible to as many guests as possible.
To aid in our planning, please let us know as soon as possible. Additionally, we are working to live stream the ceremony to enable guests who can't make it in person to attend virtually.
Please let us know your plans as soon as you know them, but we are asking for RSVPs no later than August 11th.
Yes, we want to make our wedding as inclusive as possible and our caterer is able to accommodate most allergies. If this is a concern for you, please reach out to Matt or Sarah and we will work with our caterer to ensure your dietary needs are met.
Yes, the main building where the ceremony and reception will occur is handicap accessible. An elevator is available to access the second floor ceremony site.
Yes - please reference the schedule tab for specific attire suggestions for each event
Our ceremony will start promptly at 3:30 PM. We will be kicking off our celebration with some Jewish traditions, called the tish and the bedeken, which will begin at 2:45 at a townhome (number to be announced later) across the parking lot from SkyView. You can learn more about the tish and bedeken and other Jewish wedding traditions at https://www.theknot.com/content/jewish-wedding-ceremony-rituals.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be taking place outdoors on the venue rooftop overlooking the mountains. We will have heaters and umbrellas if needed to ensure the ceremony is comfortable for all. The reception will be taking place indoors on the lower floor of the same building.
We have hired a wonderful photographer and kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. With an unplugged ceremony, our hope is that guests can be present, connect, and enjoy the moment. We will make the full photo gallery available to everyone after the wedding.
We have made our registry available through this website. Thank you in advance for your support and generosity!
Estes Park is stunning in September and offers a mild and dry climate this time of year. We should hopefully have some great fall colors for our wedding. Temps average in the mid-to-high 60s during the day, but drop considerably at night to around 40 degrees Fahrenheit this time of year. We encourage you to bring layers and comfortable shoes to make the best of exploring Estes Park in the Fall.
Estes Park is situated at 7,522 feet. We know that many of our guests will be traveling from lower elevations and we want to ensure that we support you in avoiding altitude sickness. Symptoms of altitude sickness include dizziness, nausea, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, and headaches. Strategies to reduce the chance of altitude sickness include drinking plenty of water prior to traveling (aim for twice as much as normal) as well as continually after you arrive, avoiding strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours, and reducing caffeine and alcohol intake.
You bet your Elk there will be! While in Estes Park it is not uncommon to cross paths with deer and elk. On rarer occasion you may see a bear, coyote, or even a moose.
