Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Bridal party will be in suits and long dresses, but dress as you wish!

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Squantum Association in East Providence (not to be confused with the East Side of Providence). The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors with A/C.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

We will provide transportation to and from the Renaissance Providence Downtown Hotel. Shuttles will board at 4:30pm and depart promptly at 4:40pm. Shuttles will board at 11pm and depart at 11:10pm from Squantum back to the Renaissance Hotel once the reception ends. However, you are welcome to drive yourself to the venue (the venue has a parking lot) or take an Uber/Lyft. Look for a wooden sign that says "Squantum" at the entrance turn off of Veterans Memorial Pkwy. Then keep driving all the way down Squantum Rd west towards the Providence River until you reach the last parking lot (you will pass Bradley Hospital and their lots, although we don't recommend parking there unless you want a very different type of evening). There is also a dock for anyone wanting to make an entrance via boat. *One quick note about Providence traffic on Fridays- beach traffic is a real thing and 195 going east can get a little crazy. We recommend leaving plenty of travel time to avoid going toe to toe with New England drivers. You will lose.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can fully show off those dance moves you've been practicing for weeks. Sorry kids.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we love meeting new people, our venue has space limitations that we must maintain. If your invitation includes "and Guest", please bring your plus one. If not, we look forward to meeting your friend or partner at a later date!
