Things To Do

Avenue Concept Self-Guided Art Tour

Marketed as the Creative Capital, Providence has an impressive art scene worth checking out.

Newport Cliff Walk

Into stunning views and mansions? Newport's Cliff Walk is a fan favorite among native Rhode Islanders and tourists alike. Thames Street shops, International Tennis Hall of Fame, and beaches nearby.

East Bay Bike Path

Another favorite activity of ours- 15 miles of bike path along the coast line to Colt State Park and another 15 back for those looking to get in a sweat before the wedding. You can get a sneak peak of our venue off the path too :)

Beaches!

Rhode Island is known as The Ocean State for a good reason- there are lots of amazing beaches just a 30-50 min drive from Providence. Some of our favorite spots include East Beach in Charlestown, Narragansett Town Beach, and Blue Shutters Beach in Charlestown. Parking can be limited on the weekends, so we recommend getting there bright and early (before 9am). Weekday parking is usually chiller.

RISD museum

Great art museum on RISD's campus. They have a cool exhibition right now called "Variance" that focuses on disability, neurodivergence, mental and physical illness.

Explore

Westminster Street- Cute shops downtown. Symposium books and Craftland are two of our favorites. Wayland Square- Fun little area with coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. Blackstone Boulevard walking path nearby. Federal Hill- Atwells Ave has amazing Italian food and even more amazing people watching.

Food & Drink

Figidini- Wood-fired pizzas with delicious apps and drinks. One of Natalie's favorites. Justin still hasn't figured out how to cut their pizza. Kleos- OPA! Great Greek food, including flaming cheese. Bayberry Garden- Charming spot satisfying all of your plant-mom dreams. Dune Brothers- Best lobster rolls in Rhode Island, possibly New England. We will fight you on this one. Julian's/Nick's on Broadway- Great for brunch, but go early (no reservations) Seven Stars Bakery- Legendary in RI, try their ginger scones or olive bread Tallulah's- Natalie and Justin's first date, and forever the best taco place. Breweries: Moniker (west side), Bayberry Beer Hall (west side), Beer on Earth (west side), Narragansett (east side), Trinity (downtown) Tiny Bar- Cutest outdoor patio bar with live music some nights Ogie's Trailer Park- Trailer park-themed bar. Best veggie burger and tots in town.
