Lindsey needed an amazing haircut and Brittney was the one for the job. When Brittney and Lindsey first met, they reached a new level of awkwardness, which led to their goofy sides coming to light. Over time, lots of late-night talking, and several more (still awkward) haircuts, they grew more comfortable and decided to get a drink together. That first night out, Brittney made the first move and kissed Lindsey, which was when they realized something worth fighting for was between them. The rest is history.
The weather that day was awful - a complete downpour. Nevertheless, this was the day that Lindsey had prepared for. This was it. Lindsey took Brittney down to a park along the river to meet up with a group of friends - at least that's what Brittney believed. The sky had finally cleared and the weather was perfect just before sunset. Lindsey, being insanely nervous and awkward, told a story about how she found a home inside of their relationship and wants to continue to adventure with Brittney, for as long as she'll have her. Then she got down on one knee and asked Brittney to become a "Freeman". Brittney covered her mouth in surprise and said "Yes, of course I'll marry you!" and helped Lindsey up. The friends that were "meeting" us were hiding and taking pictures of the proposal, so they came running out to congratulate us at that time. We celebrated our engagement in New Orleans the following week.
