Dakota, a mid-western girl from Illinois Since a young age, Dakota has always been interested in food and beverages. So she decided to follow her passion and go to culinary school. After graduation, Dakota worked at numerous restaurants between Illinois, North Carolina, and even a golf course in Georgia. Currently she is the Hospitality & Tourism Instructor at Butler County Career Academy teaching Culinary Arts.

Trevor, a true Carolina boy. Decided to join the military straight out of high school. He has traveled the world from Germany to Japan to Australia. Currently stationed at Fort Rucker, Alabama, he is an E6 Staff Sergeant as an air traffic controller.

Blondie (her nickname), is Dakota's oldest sister. Being the oldest sister, she has been a great role model for Dakota. As they got older, they grew closer even after Dakota's move to Alabama and Blondie's move to California. Los Angeles - California

Being stationed in North Carolina, Ashley became close friends with Dakota and Trevor through her husband, Javier. After recieving orders to Alabama as well, Ashley helped Dakota adjust to the new life of being a military spouse. She has helped out in many ways and Dakota is so thankful to have her as a friend. Jasmine was a track & field athlete when Dakota coached at Western Harnett High. Dakota was a mentor to Jasmine during her last year of high school. Trevor met Dee while they were both stationed in Camp Humphreys, South Korea. They lived next to each other and became instant friends. They have known each other for over six years and have numerous of crazy stories to share. USAG Ansbach - Germany

Chief was given to Dakota as a gift many years ago and for a while it was just the two of them. Through ups and downs, Chief has given nothing but smiles, wet kisses, unconditional love to Dakota....and a couple of broken doors.

Fen, is the dog Trevor and Dakota rescued together. He was so small but made a huge impact on their lives. What was even better, was the Chief and Fen became instant best friends/brothers.
