If you want to see people dance like their feet are on fire, book tickets to see a show here. The dancers that danced with J-Lo at the Superbowl dance here, and it is well worth the money. This was Merri's dad's favorite cultural experience in Colombia. Si quieres ver a la gente bailar como si le ardieran los pies, reserva entradas para ver un espectáculo aquí. Los bailarines que bailaron con J-Lo en el Superbowl bailan aquí, y vale la pena el dinero. Esta fue la experiencia cultural favorita del papá de Merri en Colombia.

This is where we went to celebrate our last dating anniversary, and we had such a relaxing, enjoyable time. You can get massages, facials, and do a "hydro circuit," among other things. Reservations are required, and they'll ask you to fill out a Google form prior to your appointment. This is right around the corner from our house in Ciudad Jardín. Aquí es donde fuimos a celebrar nuestro último aniversario de citas, y tuvimos una experiencia tan relajante y agradable. Puedes recibir masajes, tratamientos faciales y hacer un "circuito hidro", entre otras cosas. Se requieren reservaciones y le pedirán que completes un formulario de Google antes de tu cita. We've enjoyed a lot of great (and mysterious) street food here in Cali but haven't actually taken this tour yet, but Viajero Hostel, where it starts is a very cool place that organizes a lot of activities for foreigners and locals alike. The tour takes people to San Antonio, the Alameda food market, and Loma de la Cruz, an excellent place to buy handcrafted goods. Hemos disfrutado de mucha comida callejera excelente (y misteriosa) aquí en Cali, pero aún no hemos hecho este recorrido. Viajero Hostel, donde comienza, es un lugar genial que organiza muchas actividades para extranjeros y locales por igual. El recorrido lleva a las personas a San Antonio, la Galería Alameda y Loma de la Cruz, un excelente lugar para comprar productos artesanales.

Chorrera del Indio (waterfall)
If you would like to get outside of the city for the day, take a taxi up to this waterfall. Just make sure you organize your ride back with the cab as it's pretty remote! Si desea salir de la ciudad durante el día, toma un taxi hasta esta cascada. ¡Sólo asegúrate de organizar tu viaje de regreso con el taxi, ya que es bastante remoto!
San Cipriano Jungle River Tubing / Tubing en el Río de la Selva de San Cipriano
This is a full-day trip but is such a fun way to spend the day on a freshwater river with deep, clear waters and immerse yourself in the jungle scenery and the culture. Salento and the Coffee Region/ Salento y el Eje Cafetero
Hands-down one of Merri's favorite places. If you plan to travel after the wedding, spend a few days here. You can get there by going to the Cali bus terminal and then taking a bus to Armenia first and then taking a smaller bus from there to Salento. Salento is a town full of colorful houses and surrounded by beautiful mountains. Don't miss going up to the picturesque Valle del Cocora to see the wax palm trees jutting out of the foggy, green mountainside. This pueblo also has abundant coffee tours and horseback riding adventures. Este es sin duda uno de los lugares favoritos de Merri. Si tienes pensado viajar después de la boda, te recomendamos que pases unos días aquí. Salento es un pueblo lleno de casas coloridas y rodeado de hermosas montañas. No dejes de subir al pintoresco Valle del Cocora para ver las palmas de cera que sobresalen en la ladera verde y nublada. Este pueblo también tiene tours de café y aventuras a caballo.
