Tijiana International Airport to Cabo

The most cost-effective way to fly in for the wedding is through TJ (Tijuana International Airport), and then crossing the border via CBX (Cross Border Express). This will save you quite a bit on airfare, as flights to TJ tend to be significantly cheaper than flying directly into our wedding destination. There is a fee of around $16 USD for using the CBX Bridge, which covers your crossing from Tijuana to San Diego.

LAX to Cabo

Flying from LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) to Cabo San Lucas is another great option! Several airlines offer direct flights from LAX to Cabo. The flights are about 3 hours long. Tips for traveling from LAX in June: June is the beginning of peak summer travel season, so flights can get busy and prices can rise quickly. Booking early will help you secure the best rates and flight times. LAX can be a busy airport, especially in the summer, so it’s a good idea to arrive at least 2 hours before your flight to account for potential long lines at check-in and security.

Arrival in Cabo

There is only one airport in Cabo! There you’ll find airport shuttles, taxis, and ride-sharing services (like Uber) ready to take you wherever you need to go. You can book a shuttle through your hotel, which is a convenient option, though it can sometimes be on the pricier side. This service is often pre-arranged and may offer a hassle free route to your hotel. Alternatively, taxis are available outside the terminal. These are open to negotiation, so you may be able to work out a lower price, especially if you’re traveling with others. Just be sure to confirm the price before you get in the cab to avoid any surprises! We recommend coordinating with other wedding guests arriving on the same flights to share a ride. You could negotiate a group rate with a taxi or shuttle service, which will save you money and make your trip to the hotel even more fun! It’s a great opportunity to start the celebration early with fellow guests.
