Boating in Berlin!

A boat tour in Berlin is one of the easiest ways to see a fair amount of this amazing city in short amount of time. Plus they will explain a few things and snacks and beverages can be purchased on-board. Duration is approximately three hours: Departure 2:20pm, Return 5:35pm The tour costs approx. 33 Euros https://www.sternundkreis.de/cruises/brueckenfahrt-c1/ Either meet us at the dock 15 minutes before boarding (aka 2:05 PM) or, if you want to travel there together, we will leave Huttenpalast Hostel at 1:30pm. For those of you who RSVP we will book tickets and send you a venmo/paypal request.

Fun fact: Friday is the kickoff of the 2024 EuroCup which is hosted in Germany for the first time since Gunnar was born in 1988. So, wanna get in on the action in true German style?! Let's meet at a Brauhaus Südstern Biergarten 7:00 PM. There will be a buffet dinner for our group from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Game will kickoff at 9:00 PM! Drinks on you, dinner on us! Dresscode: Semi-formal. So for men suits in any colors or a blazer and pants combos, ties, bowties... For women, cocktail dress, dressy jumpsuit, a suave skirt and a top, or a sleek pantsuit all work perfectly.

Brunch at Huttenpaalst + Optional Flea Market

Brunch will be served at Huttenpalast Hostel from 10 AM - 12 PM. You're welcome to join! Then we will head to Flohmarkt im Mauerpark which is an awesome flea market that has food vendors, music, great people watching, and of course, oodles of [apparently this means "lots of"] used things to buy. After brunch, anyone who wants can come to the flea marke to do some perusing of vintage goods, take in all the various Berlin lewks, and reminisce about the night before [translation: just sit back, relax and check out the scene]!
