What is the drive like to the venue from the city?

Answer

During the day, the drive is beautiful and scenic. There is a significant portion of the drive on a winding two lane road.

Where should I park at the venue?

Answer

Guests may park at the Cape Horn Estate Venue Park off of Highway 14. This parking lot comes before the Skamania General Store. We ask that as much as possible, families and friends utilize carpools to ensure enough room in the lot. Please be on the lookout for signage as you approach the wedding venue. If you see the store, you've gone too far! Please let us know if you need closer handicap parking.

Can we leave our car overnight?

Answer

Per venue restrictions, vehicles can not be left in the lot overnight. While we want all guests to thoroughly enjoy the food and beverage, please plan accordingly.

Does your venue have any rules for guests?

Answer

Our venue is located in a scenic, nature-filled area; therefore, there are a few common-sense rules to protect the venue and surrounding wildlife. The rules are as follows: no climbing on the rocks, no walking in the garden beds, no pets, no confetti, no smoking except for designated areas, and ensure all garbage is disposed of in the appropriate cans.

What is the weather like and how should I dress?

Answer

The venue is located in the Columbia Gorge Mountains. Historically, we would expect it to be in the mid-high 70’s with a cool breeze at the start of the event and get down into the high 60’s. Bring a light sweater or jacket. The event will take place entirely outdoors, weather permitting. Wear shoes comfortable in a garden setting.
