Travel Note

General Information

Don’t forget to check your preferred travel apps, such as airbnb. There are a lot of fun options to stay either in June Lake or Mammoth. June Lake is an unincorporated small-town. It has charming lodges, hotels and cabins. It has our favorite brewery restaurants, shopping, and a general store. Mammoth is a ski resort town with a hospital, big chain grocery stores, and perfect getaway airbnbs, hotels and our other favorite brewery. It is located about 20 minutes from the Venue, however it does have more lodging options and our event-discounted hotels: The Village at Mammoth and Juniper Springs Resort.

Travel Information

Transportation: Flying: Most convenient option is to fly into Bishop Airport (BIH), which is about an hour drive from Mammoth. Car Rental: Rent a car at the Bishop Airport to access Mammoth and explore the surrounding area. Shuttle Service: Consider using a shuttle service from the airport to Mammoth, especially if you don't want to drive yourself. Driving Considerations: Highway 395: Access Mammoth via Highway 395, a scenic route through the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountains. Weather and Road Conditions: Check road conditions before driving, particularly during winter when snow and ice can cause closures. Chain Requirements: Be prepared for potential chain requirements on certain stretches of Highway 395 during winter.
