The base of June Mountain is 7,500 feet above sea level and the elevation of the chalet is 8,695 feet. There is a chance of minor altitude sickness. The air will be thinner at the chalet, please make sure to take your time getting acclimated and hydrate. If you develop symptoms or have concerns please let the staff know.
Yes, please make sure to hydrate prior to and during the wedding to avoid discomfort. Please also keep in mind that the effects of alcohol increase at the higher elevation. 1 drink can feel like 3!
If you experience symptoms such as headache, insomnia and/or fatigue, you may have a mild form of “altitude sickness.” These symptoms are a warning to decrease your activity level. If symptoms persist or begin to worry you, don’t hesitate to let the staff know.
